Aarsleff Rail takes over TTInspect

Aarsleff Rail is in progress. As a consequence, and in order to strengthen our electrical, interlocking and traction power department, an agreement has been entered into as per 1st November 2015 in order to acquire all activities in TTInspect.

In connection with the acquisition of TTInspect, the name of the electrical, interlocking and traction power department is changed to: RailwayTechnique.

As a consequence of the agreement of acquisition of TTInspect, Jan Tanggaard is now employed as project sales representative in Railway Technique. Jan has over 35 years of experience working in the field of sensor technology. Specifically, he has been working with innovative fully automated inspection systems for rail-bound equipment during the past 13 years. We welcome Jan and look forward to a good working relationship.

Good experience with ”the rail’s” requests for smart technology

Over the years, the interest in inspection systems has been increasing. Especially in the last few years there has been more than "general interest" behind the enquiries. This applies especially to foreign inquiries – TTInspect has already been active in more than 15 countries.

So far, 4 systems for the measuring of brake lining have been delivered to DSB for the IC3- and IC4-trains. The latest job was renovation and updating of a wheel monitoring system for the S-train, located on the main track in Copenhagen.

The future looks like an "in-house" technology department in Railway Technique at Aarsleff Rail.

We look forward to the co-operation and believe that this step will provide more contacts for railway technical activities both in Denmark, and not least, abroad.
